Housing prices are more than affordable. Noosa is an equivalent town on the seaside in Queensland. See if you can get a 3x1 house there for $300k. Not a chance. Median house price in Noosa is $1.1 Million. Median house price in Mandurah is $245,000. I could show you examples in Victoria and NSW as well. Have a look at prices in Newcastle or Mornington Peninsula. I don't think you know how good you have it here.
