Mount Sheridan shopping centre is minutes away by car or a 10 minutes walk across the road. In White Rock we have IGA, Liquor store, General store, Domino's, Fish and chips. Got two pools at TAS Acquatic centre and Trinity Links resort. Mount Sheridan shopping centre on the other side of the road has: Coles, Kmart, Post, Reject shop, butcher, sushi train, Hungry Jacks, Tavern, Red Rooster etc. pretty much everything you need for your daily needs. White Rock also has a church and two primary schools, boat ramps and a golf course. Plenty of amenities all around close by.

It is also not noisy at all as long as you don't live right on the Bruce Highway. Bruce Highway passes through almost all of Cairns so if that's your criteria you could say that 80% of Cairns is noisy. Exactly because of this highway you can drive to CBD in 10-15 minutes from White Rock. Or you can go by bike, there is state of the art bike trail.

I am also referring to the parts of the highway extended to the north which are Cairns Western Road and Captain Cook Hwy.
