"Growing Suburb"

Been in Yarrabilba for almost 4 years, owner occupier for 1 year. People complain about lot sizes being small, but coming from the UK I've lived on smaller.
There's plenty of parks and walking areas and most of the area is kept clean. Not much for teens to do at present, which may change as the suburb develops. Could do with more supermarkets which again will hopefully come over time. What we don't have here is only a short drive away. Most places can be reached within 25 mins to an hour. Overall we love living here as the community is great and there's always someone willing to lend a hand. Bad points.. some drivers think Yarrabilba is a race track especially the tradies who work here. Overall it's an 8 out of 10 from me.

"Lovely community, great place to live!"

I’ve been living in Yarrabilba for 2 years now and love everything about it. The community are great, everything that I need is here and a lot more coming. This place is growing so fast!
Such a great place for a growing family with schools, medical, cafes, parks and shops.

"Nice enough - Families Everywhere"

Having lived here for 3 months i can only give a relatively short review .
I will start by saying there are parts of the suburb i would rather live than others based on a number of factors which i will add below
1 , Close to Coles and the shops there appears to be a lot of town houses and smaller dwellings which with reduced house pricing comes a different sort of person , that is not a bad thing however not for everyone
2, A cheap house usually results in a small block and small houses stuck together , this is no different here .
We live a few KM from the shop and you can feel that there is a different vibe as the houses are bigger and blocks are larger .

Not sure why but everyone likes to park their car on the lawn , not the best look but what do you do .

We have enjoyed our time here and have a great home and great next door neighbours which helps .

If i have to compare this area with anywhere in Sydney i would probably compare it with Narrellen or Oran Park in Western Sydney

"Cheep sardine can homes"

Standard far-outer suburb services and recreation.
Very very cheaply built homes packed tightly on very very small blocks in the middle of nowhere. Created by very very greedy developers, duping very very naive young familys or first home buyers, into making a very very poor investment.

It's a hovel. Does not have to be, but it is. Thanks to the rough, dirty, very rude and uncultured inhabitants. I mean really, just look around, the place is an absolute mess. Rubbish on the ground everywhere. Road raging bogans doing burnouts every weekend. Teen mothers telling their kids how they wish they'd not been born. It's an absolute trash pile of a suburb.

"Great Parks and Community Feel"

Have found the place to be very pleasant. Parks are great and with everyday there seems to be new infrastructure. It now has a full bus service so transport is improving. The people are very friendly and the community has a great feel to it.

"A Good Investment"

I recently purchased in Yarrabilba, and so far have found it quite pleasant. I was concerned with some of the reviews with the break-ins, and I won't lie that it does make me feel uneasy, however I have never had an issue (touch-wood) and love the parks, environment and bushland. In regards to community, I have found the people not overly-friendly, but time may change that. I think the potential of house prices increasing when the town centre being built was the main incentive. Plus there is nothing like a brand new house! Its also very quite and close to the Gold Coast!

"Crime rate..."

Never lived any where in my life with so many break ins.. had people breaking into my neighbors homes 3 times in one month... and unfortunately had someone in my back yard earlier this week.. one positive is that the parks here are amazing .

"Disappointing. Dirty. Foul mouthed people."

Rude children with foul mouth language. Car got keyed at playground. Went to a children's party there do not intend to return. We went out on opening and few times since and it was lovely but not anymore. Dirty and covered in filth. Very disappointing to ruin that part of our area by putting in low income housing bringing in the riff raff. Of course it has brought in nice people too (my apologies to them) but the majority of nasty people over rules the good. Check the crime rate out there via google. Not good.
