Glebe

"Good not Great"

I liken Glebe to Annandale. For a suburb so close to the city, it can take longer to get into work than coming from outer suburbs that benefit from express train. If you have a car, look for something with a garage. Nice cafes and community but this really depends which part of Glebe you're living in. Some parts I will never consider again.

O'Connor Street

"Lived there & Loved it."

Quiet street with the best corner block cafe. Only downside was the limited pool of properties on the western side of Abercrombie. I moved to a slightly lesser street nearby for a bit more space.

Chippendale

"moved here 5 years ago and stayed"

Just moved from an apartment to a terrace literally streets away because I love the area. Before that I was in Glebe and its leagues below as a suburb what it offers.

Meagher Street

"Short walk to everything"

Surprisingly quiet given that its a thoroughfare street. We just moved into the street and love it and the area.
