This is a wonderful little community. I only visit once a year on my way through to Coochie, but it a beautiful little town that is ideal for retirees. I give it 4.5 stars only because it is a little too far to travel to most employment centres.

I can't believe some of the comments on this suburb. This area is close to Brisbane and the Gold Coast, has affordable housing, its own train station, plenty of local employment, a Westfield nearby, and is just a short trip to hinterland getaways on the weekend. Seriously. This place is the place to be for a young family starting out. It is impossible to see how this area will not have above-average growth and returns over the next 5-10 years.

You cannot beat a cul-de-sac onto a park, with great neighbours to-boot.

Interesting people, local traffic only, walking distance to everything, Queensland's best state schools, and great food and coffee.
