Currumbin Valley
"Quiet, peaceful and spacious. A green semi-rural setting close to great beaches and a short drive to major facilities and transport hubs."
I think the valley is one of the nicest locations in Australia. It is semi-rural and hence peaceful and quite with wildlife surrounding you, and yet it is within a few minutes from major services like shops, hospitals, doctors, gold coast airport and varsity lakes train station. Everyone seems friendly and happy to help our their neighbours. Schools are only a few minutes away and the currumbin creek is a great natural asset.
Great for
- Peaceful, tranquil, green, open space
- Friendly
- Close to great beaches (5 to 15km)
Not great for
- Need to drive to get to major shops/services
- Housing in the area is limited and as a result is not that cheap
- It can get chilly in winter and hot in summer.
Who lives here?
