Chisholm is located very close to Thornton which has a small shopping centre which includes coles, a butcher, cafe, bakers delight, post office & a chemist. Numerous day cares are available for those with young children along with Thornton Public School, St Bede's Catholic School & St Aloysius. An amazing family friendly quiet suburb!

Carrington is central to many local parks, cafes, take away shops & numerous restaurants in Newcastle. It is a great family friendly suburb with a local school & day care centre! You will no doubt meet many great, friendly people and receive a great comunity feeling.

Houston Avenue in Tenambit is a very quiet, family friendly street. It is located a walking distance from the tenambit shops, school & day care centre. I have lived in this street for 4 years now & have no concerns what-so-ever!

North Rothbury is central to the Hunter Valley & a 50 minute drive into Newcastle. A shopping centre is currently being built which will be great for the Huntlee Estate. I have lived in Tenambit for 4 years now! The suburb is great! Nice & quiet streets & only a walk to the local shops. The public school in the area is a good school with a day care centre right next door. Only 5 minute drive to Greenhills & 30 minutes to Newcastle. Highly rate Tenambit.
