It`s been two years since my family purchased our townhouse in Berala. We really enjoy living in this little beautiful country style suburb. Migrating from South Korea where life pace`s fast and busy, we wanted to find a not so crowded but still convenient place to settle our home and family. We spent nearly half a year searching for the right suburb and inspecting all kinds of properties, finally, we decided to get a townhouse to start with as it`s easy to maintain and still have enough space for my two school-aged kids, so we narrowed it down to a few townhouse suburbs and Berala is one of them. Then thinking about the cultural bond, Berala is so close to Lidcombe where there is a large Korean community and even here in Berala our community is also growing, but the housing price is more reasonable than Lidcombe.
I am a garden person and I see a good suburb as people who tidy and organize their gardens well. Here in Berala, I can see my neighbors are really making efforts to this! So many beautiful flowers, plants, lovely pavements! People are so friendly here, so I feel safe for my kids to grow here, not alone we have a good preschool and a primary school here. It`s also very close to all the convenient amenities: our local woolies, Costco, Asian groceries, nearby large shopping centres.
We really made the right choice to live in Berala!
