Love living in this suburb. Clean, quiet, lots of trees and parks, great neighbors. One of the safer areas in Cairns. Excellent for families with kids and pets. Recommending especially Denver street and surroundings.

Darra is the strategic centre of the Brisbane metropolitan area. 20 minutes to either the CBD, Ipswich or Logan areas and 1 hour to either Gold or Sunshine Coast. Wherever you want to get to, it is not too far away.

Bought a house in Coolaroo as an invesment. It is very hard to get better value for money in Melbourne, if not impossible. Coolaroo is heavily undervalued. The median price of a house in Melbourne is already a million, while here you can get it for half the price only 20-30 minutes from the city and 10-15 minutes to the airport. Value which just cannot be beaten.

Best of both worlds: living smack in the middle of the Sydney metropolitan area, but at the same time in a safe, quiet and clean small suburb which feels more like a country town than living in the middle of Sydney.

Used to live in Elizabeth South, the area is very quiet and clean. I had friendly neighbours. Both renting and purchase prices are quite affordable, very good value for the money.
Once the Gawler line upgrade has been finalised it will be even better, only 20ish minutes to the city on the train. Would move back there in a flash.

Rented out a house 6 months ago and quite enjoying living in the area. Great suburb for people with pets and kids as plenty of parks around to run and exercise. Good shopping and reliable public transport.
