"Daniells Court is family friendly"
Daniells Court is a small cul-de-sac in Ormeau (in the section between the motorway and the railway line). The children feel safe enough to ride their bikes around and play in the gardens of the street.
This part of Ormeau is a short drive to the M1 and 40 mins drive straightup the Motorway to Brisbane and only 25 mins to the heart of the Gold Coast. I would suggest leaving early in the morning for a drive to Brisbane CBD as traffic gets heavy in morning peak hour, Travel in the evening after 6pm can be very quick.
There is a train station at Ormeau, however in peak hour dont expect to get a seat.. hopefully this will change as the area grows.
There is a Coles locally, otherwise the major shopping centres nearby include Helensvale Westfield (20mins drive) includes KMart, Target, Aldi etc then larger shopping centres at Robina and Loganholme (30mins drive). Close to local tourist attractions at Dreamworld and Movieworld.
Livingstone College is nearby.
Being close to the Motorway means you're only a quick drive from most places. An upcoming area which will grow to include more schools and businesses over the next 10 years.
I live in nearby Coomera, but have friends living in Daniells Court, Ormeau

"Convenient"
I lived at 57 Swann Road, it is a fairly busy road especially in peak hour as it runs down to the University of St Lucia which is on a peninsula. Living in the area is convenient if you work in Toowong, you can walk, ride or drive there fairly easily plus there are nearby train stations at Taringa and Indooroopilly. The shopping centre at Indooroopilly is one of the largest in Brisbane and has everything you could want.
The mix of people in the area is great, there are families, uni students, professionals - the lot!
St Peter's Lutheran college is nearby which has a good reputation as a private co-ed school.
The fish and chip shop in Taringa is great, its at the big junction on Swann Road, busy on the weekend.
Moggill Road at Taringa has a Dentist, Restaurants and a number of other shops, they are building a few new shops as well.
A growing area that should do well for an investment as well I think.

"Peace and Quiet"
Ragamuffin Drive is the main road circling through Coomera Waters, so it will be hard to generalise. As shown in the ratings, it is fairly isolated, so dont expect a lot of shops, restaurants or entertainment. The local restaurant is not that great (sorry guys!), there's a small IGA supermarket, the local pharmacy and medical centre closed down.
So its a great area if you like Peace and Quiet (except some Friday and Saturday nights around the rec club), if you need entertainment or shopping its about 15 mins drive to Helensvale Westfield and 25-30 mins to the Gold Coast, Robina and Loganholme.
The mobile phone reception is awful, aparently 3 and Telstra just upgraded their reception, but Im with Vodafone and its terrible.
There is a train station at Coomera which runs to Brisbane and the airport but dont expect a seat in peak hour.
Austar doesnt seem to pick up the free-to-air channels which is a bit of a pain.
I rated internet access is good, however you are restricted to only a few options and a minimum per month of $70.

What is the new Pendragon drive near ragamuffin drive like? Is there much hooning at night on the nearby Colman road? Any advice about that street would be greatly appreciated.
