Yes, youd be better off renting in Merriwa or Quinns.

@emmaspencer I think it depends which part, if you are closer towards the show homes, which were on Landbeach Boulevard near IGA, you could be alright, but it seems the further east you go, the worse it seems to get. I would stay away from the areas that are close to the train station, 7/11 and that sort of thing. I know earlier this year there were cars being broken into every single night in Butler, especially around the Claremorris area

We accepted the house, it's claremorris parkway. 25 minute walk from the train station. Some friends lived in the area, said it's not bad. My mate is a cop here and said this area is OK, yanchep is worse and that's another area we were looking at. Fingers crossed...

Been in butler over 20 years as one of the first settlers .never had any issues, friends live in burns beach and had issues so just depends on who around at time no suburb is perfect

Have lived in butler for 10 years home always unlocked cars in driveway also unlocked never robbed when I was in currambine I was burgled twice one of which was a home invasion my mother in law in Quinns has been burgled 3 times tan that time frame. Butler is not the best area but neither is it as bad as some make out!
