"One word “flood”"
Be sure to stock up on food and water because when it rains you will get flooded in with no electricity (I lived it and it sucked) house will flood unless your on one of the high streets. There is no drainage!
God knows why anyone would pay so much to live here. 15 years ago you could buy a house for a couple of hundred thousand.
Roads are terrible with a council that doesn’t like spending money.
Be prepared to get eaten alive by mosquitoes, bat shit on your car and don’t get me started on the cane toads.
"Too many units and townhouses"
This used to be a nice area but unfortunately the area is being over developed.
Shops are nice and has some lovely cafes
"The best suburb for families in the Shire!"
We moved here a year ago and it has been fantastic. Unbeatable lifestyle, close to the city, beaches, national parks etc, great local School "Marton Public School" for primary and St John Bosco or Engadine High for High Schools.
My family couldn't be happier!
Who lives here?
- Professionals
- Families with kids
There is no units in Gymea Bay...
