We went to a lovely B & B outside Cowra for a long weekend a while back. That was terrific. But the attitude in Cowra when you went into a shop or hotel was horrible. Very cold and unwelcoming. Being used to visiting many areas of NSW and other states, it seemed Cowra was going out of its way to be unpleasant. Could not find a decent restaurant The town definitely did not want tourists around, so I don't see a lot of future in that area, There's lots of fantastic spots in NSW with great service and welcoming attitudes - suggest your tourist operators visit places such as the Southern Highlands in general, Binalong, Young, Bungendore, Braidwood, Robertson etc to see how it's done. My tourist dollar will not be going back, as for moving there - ugh.
