G'day folks, my family and I moved here a couple of years back and honestly, it’s hands-down the best decision we’ve ever made for the kids. You get that brilliant, welcoming community vibe where neighbours actually say hello, but without giving up any of the modern perks. The train station is an absolute game changer. I can hop on the train and be in the CBD for work easy peasy, while the kids have top-notch schools like Ivanhoe Grammar and Gilson right on our doorstep. On the weekends, we’re out kicking a footy at the local ovals, exploring the trails around Plenty Gorge or grabbing a bite and stocking up at the Mernda Town Centre. It’s safe, peaceful, got heaps of green space for the dog to run around and you get so much more bang for your buck home wise compared to closer to the city.
