"City of Poughkeepsie, NY"
There is a Town and City of Poughkeepsie. The City of Poughkeepsie is like any other city, it has pros and cons. Poughkeepsie is neighbored by the Town of Wappinghers Falls. Plenty of shopping and restauants. I work in Poughkeepsie.

Wappingers Falls
"Town of Wappingers Falls, NY"
First of all, people think the Village is called 'Wappingers Falls' and the Town is 'Wappinger.' That is WRONG!!!!! Town and Village are Wappingers Falls. I have lived here for 40 years. Wappingers Falls is a nice and calm town. The biggest, most popular road in WF is NY Route 9. Second to that is Dutchess County Road 93 (Myers Corners Road.) Since 2000, WF had a 10% increase in population. People who love nature and watching seasons change, WF is the place for you! Many great restaurants!
