I don't know that I can come up with ten, but there are a few nice things to do in Myers Corner. One is to have dinner at Aroma Osteria which has a lovely formal dining room and has been acclaimed by Zagat for years, Parent town of Wappinger has a well developed parks and recreation program. They have quite a few good youth programs, a summer day camp, a fishing program, a wonderful senior center, bus trips and free summer concerts in Schlathaus Park. Schlathaus Park is also the location of the town’s annual Community Day which is a festive, family-friendly experience that starts off with a nice parade and offers fun rides, watermelon eating contests, food vendors, community information booths, music by The Hudson Valley Council Band and many other cool activities. In the area is also the popular 38-acre Reese Park, Veteran’s Memorial Park with its ball fields and basketball court as well as Mesier Park, Little Falls Park, Castle Point and Rockingham. There is also gorgeous Wappinger Lake where people often go fishing.
