Medlar Court

"Traffic noise very loud - but street was very friendly"

I lived in this street some time ago.
When I first moved in to Medlar Court the traffic on Plenty Road (which I backed onto) wasn't to bad, but as time went by and the housing boom in South Morang picked up the traffic increased significantly.
A constant flow of traffic which, at times seemed to be deafening, put a dampener on outdoor activities.
The fact that it was a court made it safe for kids to play in and there is a park just around the corner with a tennis court and play area.
If you live on the side of the court that doesn't back onto Plenty Road the traffic noise is much better.
I remember there were street bbq's at Christmas and drinks at New Years Eve as well as kids birthday parties and also some adult birthday parties.

Regezia Court

"Quiet family friendly street"

Regezia Court is very kid friendly. The court is very quiet and the kids in the street all play down the end of the court or on the only vacant block in the street without any traffic worries.
Adults regularly stop and chat in the street, whether they are walking or in their cars.
Christmas is an especially friendly time with a street bbq which goes well into the early hours and New Years Eve is pretty much the same.
The school is just around the corner so the kids can walk to school and not have to cross any major roads.
A new shopping complex is being built a short distance away on Plenty Road "University Hill" which will have a "brand smart" type of retail shopping as well as lots of cafe's, restaurants, supermarkets and entertainment areas.
There are major residential developments at South Morang and Mernda with a Westfield shopping centre planned for the near future.
