"Great place to bring up your kids"

we have lived in heathcote junction for 16 years and found it to be a great place to bring our kids up working in a nearby larger town i see the difference in our kids every day but now that our kids are a bit older it is time for us to move on and i would recomend this town ahead of wallan and kilmore every day it is still a small country town and should never change ps if you are ever passing call in to the crown hotel newstead for a drink

Great for

Small town and should stay that way
Small and safe

Not great for

Only negative no gas
No gas connection and the council could do a lot more with the roads, guttering and pathways.
