Mernda

"Dry, dusty and clogged with traffic."

Most of the houses are of poor quality, absolutely no yard space what so ever and some of the worst traffic in the region.

Many new developments under construction so lots of trucks, lots of roadworks, lots of loose rubbish and so much exposed dirt. As it hardly ever rains in Mernda, this generates an enormous amount of dust, to the point it irritates the throat and nose, not to mention a window open for a day leaves a layer of dirt and dust over everything.

Besides that, plenty of bogans, hoons, the odd maniac and children running wild on the streets all come together to make this a truly horrible pace to live. I rent and wouldn't recommend living here, let alone buying here, it's awful, truly awful.

No yard? If you are willing to pay more, I bet you can get a yard, there are lots with 15-16m width and 40m depth (or even bigger).
Development no doubt causes dust, debris and rubbish, once everyone settles in, everything would be fine and dandy, my area took about a year to clean up.
Still don't understand the bogan/hoons part, been living here for 2 years now and yet to met one.
Starting to think some of the reviews here are illegitimate, not sure what is their agenda.

It must take a lot of energy to vent out so much negativity. Mernda doesnt welcome you! Good luck
