Mernda has great walking/ biking tracks , there are trees and grass lands which the native birds come to. The wildlife/ kangaroos come to your doorstep and share our footpaths as they go on there way after grazing through the night.
People are friendly and helpful. If your out walking they past and smile or say hello. Its a great suburb for young families with spacious parks and clean bike tracks. The council are constantly improving the area. A safe neighborhood where neighbor's look out for one another.
