It is a great place to live. People are friendly and thougt the traffic is getting heavier than it once was, nothing like the nightmare of Sydney traffic which is why we left Sydney. However, don't believe all that you hear about how long it takes to get to Sydney. If you go in the morning it can take over 2 hours and returning late afternoon on a Friday can take 3 hours!! We go to Sydney very seldom because all we need is right here. Better to go by train.
Neighbours in my area are very friendly so that we have drinks on Fridays and BBQ when the weather is warm.We came here from Tasmania and this is so much more interesting with lots of courses run by U3A, fabulous choice of films through the regular cinema and the Film Society.Lots of intellectual stimulation, particularly when compared with Tasmania...much as I love the place it was boring!!
