Meridan Plains

"a little slice of heaven!"

i saw my house in august 2014 and bought it immediately....i just got very lucky. i love the area as it is so quiet and not densely populated. i plan to see my days out here, although hopefully not for at least, 2 more decades +. i thank God every morning for this lovely place and my lovely home! there are 2 of us and my children stay over very 3 weeks. the beautiful beaches are not far and some even have shade, plus you have the choice of 2 50mtr swimming pools....first thing i looked up as i swim for exercise!

Great for

  • Excellent Private College in the Estate
  • In the precinct of a popular reputable State School
  • Well maintained parks, bbq's, walks.

Not great for

  • Public transport is woeful within the caloundra area

Who lives here?

  • Professionals
  • Singles
  • Families with kids
  • Retirees
  • Trendy & Stylish
  • Beach Lovers

Hi Maria, we are thinking of possibly moving up to meridan plains from Melbourne, any good tips? Are there many new housing developments and estates in the area?? Thanks Justin

Dont' move here its packed Jam packed over priced crime rate high you only have to look on the local community pages and take a drive down all the streets here to see all the security cameras up! police always here as ghetto housing estates brought the crime element now!! Sad!! it used to be lovely! the pool she is talking about is the aged care place opposite meridan state college!! the school is the worst with massive bullying in the higher school!! this woman is a retiree!! thats why she is not a young family! and for retirees its now way too expensive!
