We lived in battery point for 5 years, we loved the house we were living in but let me tell you i will never live there again.
1 The council rates have sky rocketed to more then 1000%
2 Battery point is full of snobs who think they are above all.
3 There is no community feeling.
4 Any one can pick the phone and lodge a complain if your hedge is just about to stick out.
5 If you are even doing little things in your garden or in the house every one passing by has an eye on you so that they can complain to the council.
6 Renovation is a nightmare in Battery point, neighbours think that your house is there house and will go to any extent to see what you are doing and if they don't like it or has some kind of grudge on you they will try to stop it.
7 It is very rare to have good neighbours in battery point.
8 Batter point is a magnate for thieves, lots of things were stolen from our house and garden
Bed shits, Towels , computer, mobile phone from the car the list can go on.
