It will be interesting to see how 'lively' it gets once street life returns to normal. For now it is verrry quiet. My partner and I both work from home and we are in love with this street and suburb. Big parks to exercise to the left AND right. Friendly neighbours though most have been silent and invisible - do they ever leave home? Five star takeaway food options less than 1 min walk.

My partner and I returned to Sydney from London because of Covid. We settled in Chippendale after hearing good reviews from local work mates. This suburb is amazing and totally transformed since I last lived Oz. We are lucky to be in one of the few terrace lined streets on the western side of Regent? Street. It is a short walk to not just the city and all its attractions and facilities BUT also Redfern, Newtown, Glebe, it is literally the centre of all the fun spots. Even Chippendale itself is highly serviced, with amazing cafes, restaurants, huge Woolworths supermarket. Sliver of a suburb that punches above its weight. We haven't had a chance to fully explore the suburb indepth, but there is a mix of residential, commercial, dotted everywhere. See White Rabbit? gallery.
