"Double nope"

Just make sure you do research on which areas are safer in Eagleby. There are quiet areas that are more safe, but troublesome and drug addicted neighbours should be highly expected if you blindly just move there. Expect them to play music so loud that your home vibrates and sounds like a nightclub, from 10pm through to 5am or so. Nice parks around, but can never really go anywhere alone such as a bank or a park. I dunno, I just felt rather unsafe there, during my stay. Home security is a must, as all of my neighbours had been broken into. Expect a snake or two to sneak in aswell and expect lots of dangerously heavy flooding during cyclone seasons. The entire parks near my home were all under water and we could just see the tops of the basketball rings, along with many homes and vehicles - such an eerie sight if you’d never seen it before. It’s a close drive to Hyperdome shopping centre, which is quite lovely, but unfortunately, just not for me and my kids.

"Depends"

I lived there for a few years. There are some dodgy homes and low class/no class citizens that can ruin it for everyone else. Saying that, we lived in a beautiful part of BW, where the homes were all lovely and we generally felt safe there. Was a very close walk to everything - shops, transport, parks and beaches. I looked and moved elsewhere though, a little more safe, as my family started to grow. Seems to be more fitting for young couples or singles.
