Killarney Heights

"Suburbia at its best but devoid of character"

Great for families, safe, friendly, very social. with a wonderful community spirit. Homes are a mix of the unrenovated, the newly renovated, bog standard project homes and upmarket, no expense spared homes. Generally the architecture is uninspiring and passe. Surrounded by Middle Harbour and Garigal National Park makes for plenty of opportunities to commune with nature, indeed there are many possums, parrots and escaped pet rabbits to enjoy.
The two public schools are very good with the primary school enjoying the status of a long waiting list and a French/English curriculum. All the after school activities are within walking distance, Carlile swimming school, a tennis centre, both soccer and rugby clubs, Vibe dance studio, netball courts and Mosman rowing club. Public transport is pretty good though the train station is a 10 minute bus ride away. Beaches and the city are both close.
