Hi,
I live in the Moorookyle state which is surrounded by Sayers Road,Tarneit Road and Davis Road.
We have nice country club in our area it cost you $ 450 annual, which facilitate Tennis court,Gym,Swimming pool (not heated !) ,large kids play ground and large ground.
We are 25-30 mins to city off peak hours. But I use public transport to work ,I left home around sharp 7.50 am to catch 8.13 am express train from hoppers crossing (secure car parking in hoppers next to Target!) i get to city around 9.45 am . This will help you to adjust your time table.
Tarneit close to the Melbourne Airport just 35 mins average drive through the Sayers road via western ring road. But I found this boundary road connect from the Davis road is actually connecting to Deer Park highway entrance and to the western ring road is much more easy and fastest if you live in the Moorookyle state ,but unfortunately some part of Davis road and end of the boundary road is still gravel road.
In the peak hours there are some considerable traffic in the Sayers Road, Tarneit Road junction and the Sayers Road, Derrimut road junction. Things will be fine once developments are done.
I have been told some community members the area is more outnumbered by the Islander bases communities which experiencing some of domestic violence and un-attendant kids around the area. But things will be alright once the Tarneit Police Station opens up and start their patrols.
Please this all things how I saw in the Tarneit make sure read all other comments. I am very much like the Area mainly because I am feeling the Aussi out back while still 25 mins to the City.
tks
