We've lived in Aroona for 8 years now, and we feel it was the best decision we've ever made. Both our girls are doing well at Talara Primary College, which is rated as one of the best state primary schools in Queensland. Most house are on a decent size blocks (600-800m), and the streets are quiet and really safe for kids to play in. Our neighbours are lovely too, and all this talk about the suburb being controlled by angry retirees is just nonsense. Most of our neighbours have young families too.

It's also a great location because it's only 5 minutes drive to Woollies, and less than 10 minutes to the beaches and centre of Caloundra.
