Greensborough

"Hoon town"

Some parts are still green but most of it is hoon infested, the traffic is unbelievable and the locals put shopping trollies in the lake. Litter and graffiti everywhere and the public toilets smell bad bad bad.

Not great for

  • Hoons hoons hoons
  • Freeway noise
  • Some hoons, burnouts on weekends

Not sure where you live but I have never seen this.

Where is the lake in Greensborough? I think you have your suburbs crossed!!!

I don't agree with the comments, but I think the above poster is referring to Kalparrin Lake, Pinehills Drive, Greensborough.

This may be murphy99's experience, but it's not been mine, and I have lived in the Henry St/south-of-the-plaza side of Greensborough for close to 8 years now. The Kalparrin lake is not my side of town but I have always found it to be a really pleasant spot with the kids. Just needs a café!!

Live just across Kalparrin Lake. Have not seen nor heard this hoons... Perhaps they have grown up and moved out of their parents place (and Greensborough)?
