Mt Sugarloaf Dr

"almost perfect"

A lovely place to live. Filled with lovely, friendly people that take pride of their houses, with lots of parks, close to macarthur square. It is however very expensive to buy in the area and you are zoned to Ambervale schools... unless you can afford to send your kids to a private school...

"It will do?"

Quite a busy street with a wide variety of people living on it, most of who keep to themselves. Good shops and primary schools, but not such great high school.

Manooka Crescent

"Lovely and quiet"

Very quiet street with nice people, most of who keep to themselves. Great public primary school and driving distance to macarthur square, the mall and medical centres. the only con of manooka cres is that it is zoned to Airds High school which could do with a better reputation.

Not great for

  • High school

"'all that you need'"

a nice place to live, with neighbours that keep to themselves and keep their homes well presented. Within walking distance or short drive to 'sugarworld gardens' coles, iga, pubs, schools and a lovely playgroup. A bit busy at certain times though and the local high school could have a better reputation but i guess no place is perfect.

"beautiful and relaxing"

It use to be a very lovely street with friendly people, but most of those have moved.... Beautiful houses, walking distance to 'sugarworld gardens' coles, iga, two primary schools - in the zone for isabella's primary. Driving distance (10-20mins) to stocklands, cairns central and everything else cairns has to offer.
The only problems of the area i would say are; the schooling maybe - both high school and primary have varying reputations.. some love them some don't, and a growing number of government housing in the area.
