"The best of everything a part from the beach"
Totally unexpected since moving here. It’s so close to everything - shops, great schools, lovely cafe and restaurants on Victoria Avenue, public transport and the motorway. It takes me 15 mins to drive to work in the CBD!!!
The neighbourhood is friendly and safe. We look out for each other here. So close to great parks, running routes by the water (5, 10, 20, 42 and 50k), cycling tracks, playground, ramen, charcoal chicken, sushi, coffee! This list can go on. Honestly it is hard to beat the open space options being so close to the city and not feeling congested, whilst also being so close to public transport as well - though I drive these days due to unreliable service.
The schools are great and lots of options from public, catholic and private.

"Fantastic for families and still great value"
A lovely hidden suburb close to amenities incl. hospital, great schools (primary and high school), universities, shops and only ~30 mins to the CBD - rail or motorway. Friendly neighbours that look after each other.
It’s been great to grow up with kids with a good family night life near parramatta and great parks.
It’s safe and still affordable, but value is starting to go up. So unsure how much longer it will be afffordable for the middle class.
Personal preference is North Wentworthville on the other side of Darcy Rd, but that’s where I’ve grown up.

"Charming quiet beachside town"
A great little seaside suburb with a lot of amenities close by.
Locals are friendly but also the character is slowly changing as it grows. However, it still has its charm and character.
Enough restaurants and shops but opportunity to grow for a larger population with the small developments happening. Infrastructure will need to keep up.
Lovely beaches and so close to a lot of places. We love it.
