Deane Street

"Close to the heart of Frankston, but still peaceful"

We moved in here before the Frankston retail development began, which runs along the entire west side of Deane St. The traffic has calmed a lot since the closure of gertrude st, and the noise has diminished since the installation of a large fence. Overall, this is a very quiet street, people basically keep to themselves. It is nice and close to everything, and still fairly quiet.

Potter Street

"A perfect street for criminals and derros"

I can only recommend renting here (please, dont ever buy into this street) if your only other option is a cardboard box. in fact, place the cardboard box somewhere other than dandenong and that might be a better option.
I have never had to call the police so many times, my car insurance premium more than doubled (rightly so, my car was broken into twice), i was scared to come home on many occasions... and a dandenong police officer told me it was the worst street in melbourne.
Junkies screaming at each other until all hours, a laneway to a park that attracts nothing but miscreants, regular assaults, breakins, and domestics.

One word:
Don't.
