I've lived in Ringwood Nth for 5 years. To me it's the perfect blend of nature and suburbia. Lots of bushland, bigger blocks, hilly, quiet and safe, and yet eastland is 5 mins away, eastlink is 5 mins away, the city is 30 mins away. We moved from Mitcham and found Ringwood nth to be safer as it was a bit off the main area of Ringwood. Great schools around and lots of young families.
