Recently my partner and I made the decision to downsize and move from our home in Buderim to a unit-by-the-sea. Paul Angell was the selling agent for the unit that we purchased. Over the years I have bought, sold and built property on numerous occasions and know first hand that such transactions open us all up to a certain degree of vulnerability both financially and emotionally. The integrity and humanity of the agents and their staff is key to ensuring successful outcomes for all. On this occasion, our purchase of this property was time constrained, and as buyers, we faced a higher than usual degree of exposure financially and as a family. Paul (a real Queenslander by birth) moved from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast in 1977. After a 13 year stint with the Department of Defence he ventured into real estate in 1992 starting his career in Caloundra.
