Langwarrin

"The truth is somewhere in between"

After a mixture of reviews, i thought i would put forward an honest point of view after living here for over 20 years. First off there are definately some issues with gangs of teenagers, there is always graffitti around the place and bus stops are regurarly smashed along with shop windows. This is a fact, however langwarrin in general has been a great place to live for the past 20 years, i have made some good friends and resale values have been good, i would not consider the area to be unsafe as i have felt quite comfortable since i have been here, if we could just get rid of the hooligan element it would be perfect.

Who lives here?

  • Singles
  • Families with kids

Dear penpstop, I agree with most of what you say. However i am a trades man whom does a lot of work around Hampton,Brighton, sandringham etc and i can tell you that the bus stop windows are often smashed and there are also gangs of teenages allover the FACT is it doesn't matter were you live the aforementioned problems exist. I just don't see why we should be posting negative comments on a blog read by god knows how many people. I often wonder how many potential buyers have decided not to buy in langwarrin based on what they read in this blog?? Less buyers = less demand = lower selling prices. No my home is not for sale.. But i would like to see langwarrins home prices reach their potential.
