I've lived in Traralgon for 4 years, and so far its quite good! I must say, it is very convinient and everything you need is just 5 minutes away. Many school opportunities, such as st Paul's, Lavalla and other secondary colleges. The housing costs are fairly reasonable, and you can get nice family homes from $300,000 - $350,000. Many after-school activitie choices, too. The only thing I disklike is the smoky power mines and the smelly paper mills, and the distanse from Traralgon to the City ( 1 hour 45 mins. ) . But overall, Traralgon is a great place to live for families with growing children, and I definetely reccomend anyone who is planning to move to a regional/rural suburb.
