Salisbury

"Great young community"

A well defined suburb, within 10km of the city with excellent public transport options, and a generation of young families and couples. Neighbours here are friends. The train at the Western end and the CIty Express 119/120 at the Eastern end make commuting a breeze. Bordered by Toohey Forrest and with many parks, nature is always evident. New eating options include a wonderful cafe: Apples on Ainsworth, Sushi, Urban Burger, and many others within a 2km radius.

Great for

  • Fantastic Local Cafe - Apples on Ainsworth
  • Live amongst the trees with many parks
  • Picnic or BBQ at Toohey Forrest
  • Quiet
  • Good proximity to city and freeways
  • Close to public transport train and bus
  • Neighbourhood spirit
  • Good proximity to shopping centres/shops

Not great for

  • The secret is out
  • Lack of quality night time restaurants/sporting clubs

Who lives here?

  • Professionals
  • Singles
  • Families with kids
  • Retirees
