Walcha
"Pure Isolation"
Walcha is for you if you like to be isolated, excluded are over the age of 60.
The locals aren’t overly welcoming, there’s no where to experience nice food or somewhere to enjoy a drink.
The pubs are run down and struggling to survive the isolation and lack of visitors and locals don’t support locals. It’s a clicky small town with small minded people and no progression.
The big companies don’t deliver here (coles, Woolies, Bunnings) so a car is essential and you will have to tracel.

I dont know which Walcha you experienced but the only things I can agree with are the pubs struggling to survive and the big companies not delivering. Walcha is one of the friendliest small towns Ive ever been to. They have some beautiful meals on offer and Ive enjoyed many a drink in Walcha.
