Frankston South

"Agree that it is an ageing suburb."

If you are lucky enough to have quiet, keep-to-themselves, employed neighbours, then you have done well. Nice and leafy. Not much in the way of shopping, a choice of two very expensive milkbar type shops, some average "take away" shops and not a lot else. Public transport is terrible so i would not rely on that if choosing to move to this area. Young hoon men speeding around at night. The whole suburb could do with a re-vamp!

I agree that major shopping is limited, and thank god for that! Frankston CBD is 5 minutes away by car let them have the traffic. I think the local take away shops are the same as anywhere and milk bars are always expensive. All my neighbours in my street are employed and are quiet, so maybe I am lucky!

We used to live in Frankston South between Golf Links and Robinsons Rd. We had DREADFUL neighbours: every weekend finding bottles and cans from parties that finish 4AM, a young man smashing his car from being drug affected, and used condoms flung over the fence, grafitti, teenagers screaming. We couldn't get out fast enough! 'Old' Frankston South probably ok (between Moorooduc and Nepean Highway).
