"East of Government Road is Excellent."

I have lived all over the Gold Coast & love living in Labrador. East of Government Road (the beach side) is the best area (west of Government Road is too high density). It is one of the oldest suburbs on the Gold Coast. The Broadwater is walking distance & Labrador is far enough away from Surfers Paradise but still close enough to visit if you wish. There are some lovely streets in the hilly areas with character homes still remaining. There are a lot of homes screaming for renovation or demolition but that's great as it is still an affordable area to buy into & benefit from huge capital growth in the future.
Since several expensive high rises have been built along Labrador's Broadwater, Labrador has become quiet a trendy place to live. Most of the dingy 3 storey walkups have gone & with them all the rif raff. Labrador has lots of character & I believe in the future it will be the jewel of the Gold Coast.

"Secluded, quiet high on the hill."

This is a great street, high on the hill. Lots of cool sea breezes. Only No Through Road in Labrador high on a hill. Nice & quiet, great for families & kids. Can park your car in the street & allow kids to play in the street without any worries. This street is secluded and has only resident traffic. If you didn't know this street was here, you would miss it. Of all the hilly evevated streets in Labrador this street is the best. The other elevated streets are either zoned for units or have a lot more traffic due to drive through traffic. The street is in an excellent location off Wilson Street. Wilson Street is a bit noisy with lots of traffic but people still love Wilson Street and houses in this street are considered "Hot Property". Many houses in Wilson Street have reached the highest prices when sold (see RP data). There are lots of old character houses in this street and potential for capital growth is huge.
