Moruya is a place we’ve come to truly value. We’re both community workers—I’m an ambo and my wife works for the local council—so we see firsthand the strength of the town and its people.

My wife is born and bred Batemans Bay, with family in Tuross Head, Nelligan and Batemans Bay, so this area has always been home for her. We had our kids at Moruya Hospital and are now happily settled here.

Moruya strikes a great balance—there’s easy access to shops, essential services and even the airport, while still being just minutes from the beach and surrounded by beautiful coastline. It’s a relaxed, welcoming township with a genuine sense of community, making it a fantastic place to live and raise a family.
