"Great little suburb and getting better"

my partner bought a house here about 9 years ago and it's now worth twice what he paid. We are minutes from the beach, shops and the train station. Always feels safe around here (good guard dog!) and everyone is very friendly. We are a young professional couple and our friends are always surprised how nice it is around here. There are still a few ferals about but they are mostly renters.

Our street is made up mainly of older people/retirees but we are now noticing more young couples with kids moving in. The council does a good job of maintaining streets/landscape and they have put in some new walking paths around the wetlands which look great.

It's not the place to be for party animals and there isn't a great amount of dining options although Thai beach cafe rocks!

Great for

  • Access to transport options
  • Affordability
  • Beach

Not great for

  • A few ferals still around

Who lives here?

  • Professionals
  • Families with kids
  • Retirees
  • LGBT+
  • Country Lovers
  • Beach Lovers
