"New Suburb"

New suburb, family friendly up to where the dapto train station is. A lot of people like to walk, or jog on bong bong road. There is a sense of community. There are lots of facilities available.

Great for

  • Quite
  • Close to gyms, restaurants, shopping centre, train station, medical ce
  • Community, v.good internet & phone reception

Not great for

  • Close to Dapto
  • 20 mins drive away from the closest beach
  • Close to pub

Do you live there Sibbstar? What's the crime rate like? Looking at a house there to rent at the moment for myself and young family

Hi Nicole, I've lived in the area for 12 years and haven't experienced any crime and the neighbours haven't either. It's pretty quiet and safe. Families with younger or older children, some retires, good sense of community.

Actually I want to edit my comment about Dapto High School, the principle is great and has had positive influence. The council has been upgrading the surrounding roads and bridge around Dapto High School as well. I have withdrawn my child from private schooling and is now happily attending Dapto High.
