Gold street is a perfectly located street. Next to a park on one side then another park at the end. Nice hill to roll down on the bike and amazingly quiet area. Neighbour’s are most home owners and the rentals are well kept. Some beautiful old growth trees in the street with well kept solid built brick homes from the 80s on mid sized blocks. Would be nice if there was more community street gatherings though. Nice to get to know all your neighbours.

Local primary school is by far the best on the coast and just a quick bike ride to the local high school. Can bike everywhere from schools, beaches, shops all within 10 minutes!! Its so well located and its affordable. Bus stops very close and the new trainline in the future will have a stop at Aroona also so it'll be quick into Maroochydore too! Cannot fault the area and love living here.

I have owned in Blacks Beach for over 4 years and have nothing but positives for the area. Great schools, transports, dining and recreation. No crime and neighbors are friendly and happy. Kids play happily in parks and safely ride bikes around the parks and streets. A good mix of owners and renters and the area has a strong community spirit. Its got a great tavern and by far the best beach in the mackay region stretching 7km of pure sand and beautiful water. I would recommend this area to everyone! House prices fluctuate with mining cycles but steadily increase over time.
