"A little country town in the 'burbs"
I previously had a short stint in Salisbury where I basically went from work to home to work. I then ventured back almost 2 years ago and love it! Whilst I don't have any offspring myself, there are plenty around and they and their parental units always have a smile on their face while they walk the family dog or play at one of the local parks.
While Salisbury isn't the most modern and forefront suburbs, its not stuck in the 70's either. There are two sets of shops, both with a convenience store. Theres also a vet, two real estates, a cute vintage cafe, post office, bakery, nail salon, 2 barbers, 2nd hand book shop, newsagent, 2 take away shops, computer repair shop and a new fruit & veg/deli opening soon. Theres also the local bowls club which is where you'll find all the locals on a Friday night.
There are many different walks of life in Salisbury - singles, students, retirees, DINKS, newlyweds and families. And pretty much everyone is welcome.

- No convenience stores open before 7am or after 7pm
- Salisbury Train Station needs refurbishment
