Berwick

"Over priced and too much traffic"

Berwick used to be a wonderful place to live, but in the last five years it has become too populated and the people are not as friendly and neighbourly. It can take 30 minutes to get from one side to the other due to traffic lights and commercial estates. North side of the highway is a much better choice for anyone looking at buying in Berwick as it retains it's tree lined streets and friendly neighbours. Also beware on the southside off Clyde road in the newer estates (Chase, St Johns Wood and Berwick Springs) they have a major problem with wild cockatoos that wake us up at 2am every morning with their squawking

Have you thought about moving out further?

Seriously? I've lived in St John's woods estate for ten years, and NEVER had a problem with the cockatoos..

My mother in law who lives in the chase had issues with the Cockatoos but I have never had a problem in St Johns Wood estate.

Beaconsfield Upper

"Wonderful country atmosphere, not far from the city"

We have been in Upper Beac for 10 years and find it to be perfect in all aspects of what you would like in a suburb. Everyone is friendly, there is the country air and an abundance of nature. It really is quiet and has a fantastic community spirit. The only down side is no train station, but there are buses that go each way through the town to take you where you need to go. We will never move from this suburb and recommend it for anyone at all stages of life.
