Reviews of Beaconsfield Upper, VIC

"Great place to live"

Upper Beacy is a great place to live, being here for 15 years now and it has the country feel, yet only a stones throw from all the facilities. It would help if the local Council could actually find Upper Beac, but otherwise all is great.

"Wonderful country atmosphere, not far from the city"

We have been in Upper Beac for 10 years and find it to be perfect in all aspects of what you would like in a suburb. Everyone is friendly, there is the country air and an abundance of nature. It really is quiet and has a fantastic community spirit. The only down side is no train station, but there are buses that go each way through the town to take you where you need to go. We will never move from this suburb and recommend it for anyone at all stages of life.

"Small rural town ideal for families"

One of the towns destroyed by the Ash Wednesday bushfires in 1983, Beaconsfield Upper is today a relatively small rural town with approximately 3,000 residents. Based 45km south east of Melbourne city, Beaconsfield Upper plays host to a golfing country club, primary school and community centre, and enjoys sweeping views across beautiful countryside. It sits between Narre Warren East, Emerald, Dewhurst, Harkaway, Guys Hill, Officer and Pakenham and includes features such as Stoney Creek, tree-lined streets, eucalyptus forests, wetlands and fern gullies.
