I live on the Beenleigh end of Eagleby, about 500m from the M1. For me this is the best place to live in the world. For the past 14 years I have owned a home here and worked in the city. Its a 10 minute walk to Beenleigh Station and a 40 minute run to south bank-at work in under an hour, Its a 5 minute walk to Big W and the Beenleigh market place. I walk past cows in the Agricultural college in the morning - nice. Across the road we have a huge park and skateboard ramp plus boat ramp access to the Albert River. I love Kayaking and regularly train on both the Albert and Logan Rivers. We have a really great fishing pontoon that regularly produces catches of Jewfish, Mangrove Jack, huge bream and of course mud crabs. Like others have mentioned - its a short run by car to the gold coast, Brisbane and up the Logan Motorway to ipswich - its smack bang in the centre of everything.
