Salubris Place

"Quietly tucked away"

Salubris Place, with attractive parkland at its entrance, is tucked away in a quiet little pocket of Moggill near the river. The homes are predominantly low set and have gardens large enough for children and pets to play. This makes the street and surrounding area very appealing for young families. Being one of three cul de sacs in this little pocket there is no through traffic, the homes at the top end of Salubris have the added advantage of backing onto bush with each block having a covenant over land that was once marked as a road. Ausbuild constructed many of the homes and as a rule can be identified by their attractive patterned driveways, they provide great street appeal and are equally pleasing on the inside.

Most importantly the locals are very friendly. Every day shopping is covered in nearby Bellbowrie while it is only a short drive to Kenmore and the major shopping precincts at Indooroopilly and Mt Ommaney. The local primary school is very popular with the little ones and for high schooling Kenmore State High has an excellent academic record.

Don't miss a visit to Booker Place on Birkin Road, Bellbowrie - fantastic adventure playground for the children with plenty of picnic tables and bbqs. There is also a great dog off leash area for your furry friends too.

Kensington Circuit

"Acres of parkland on my doorstep"

I am one of the original residents of the estate having purchased the land in early 1998. I was attracted to the estate for many reasons - being surrounded by parkland and trees was pretty high on the list. The proximity to Kenmore State High School was an important consideration allowing my children to be able to walk to school and of equal importance was the ease of access to the city bus on Brookfield Road.

I love walking along the bike path along with many other residents who enjoy a stroll for fitness or to exercise the dog. The dog off leash area is very popular and although I opposed its location I am pleased to see that it is well used and providing an exercise outlet for local residents. Over the years there has been a noticeable increase in the number and variety of birds in the area as the gardens and trees have become established, the sound of birds singing is something that I really enjoy.

Kensington Circuit is almost exclusively owner occupied and consists of a mix of single level and double storey executive class homes. The highest sale price in the street stands at $780,000. It can seem a little tricky driving into this little pocket but the benefit of low traffic volume make it all worthwhile. There is a short cut for pedestrian traffic across the bridge that connects us with Branton Street and up to Brookfield Road.

Homes do not come available very often in this street and rarely last long when they do. I highly recommend my street and the area in general for anyone looking to move here.
