Manning Street

"Less is More on Manning"

Manning Street: short but stylish. Home to the Australian Institute of Architects, it's also home to ultra-popular cafe, Toby's, and design boutique Becker&Minty. But my pick is "Macleay on Manning" an uber-chic decorator's delight. Stocking exquisite collections of objects, both decorative and minimalist, the window palette barely extends beyond black and silver. Yet, it remains so rich with creativity, proving the phrase "Less is More". Coined by modernist architect Mies Van Der Rohe, it expresses the notion that simplicity = good design.

Orwell St

"All is well in Orwell"

Start the day full of beans at the petite Three Beans cafe at the Victoria St end of Orwell. Continue on past the colourful backpackers and end in indulgent style at the top of Orwell St in chic French dining room, Apres.

Challis Avenue

"The Golden Challis"

Beginning with a cluster of great cafes, walk along this street lined with charming art deco buildings and renovated terraces and you'll arrive at Embarkation Park. Here, you'll find a haven to take the dog for a walk, escape the office, have a picnic or just sit back and soak up the sun as you look at the gorgeous view across Woolloomooloo Wharf and Sydney Harbour Bridge. With studios from the low $200,000s this character-filled avenue can be your "Golden Chalice"

Potts Point

"Unique & Uber-chic"

Potts Point has true personality. Few places so effortlessly fuse modern urban edginess with a genuine respect for the quaint heritage styles of yesteryear.
From young, single executives to life-loving empty-nesters, this suburb has it all. Transport is a breeze, cafes and restaurants are relaxed and everywhere oozes style in a fashionably unpretentious way. The city and harbour are within walking distance and the town has an unbeatable energy that will leave you captivated.

Springfield Ave

"Stroll Through a Springfield in the City!"

Springfield Avenue, like its name suggests, is about to bloom and blossom. Nestled quietly between Potts Point's bustling Macleay Street and Victoria Street, Springfield Avenue is undergoing a transformation with the new "Village Centre" Gourmet Food Retail Centre currently under construction. Another recent update to the street is Quest Potts Point. This award-winning boutique hotel, designed with a sophistocated warmth and luxury, opened in December 2008. Sydneylinks Real Estate has the pleasure of being a local sales agent for these great investment apartments and Springfield Avenue offers other great residential buildings, just ask sales agent Trish 0404 893 883

MacLeay Street

"Living on Macleay....You've really made it!"

Macleay's myriad of cosmopolitan cafes, uber-chic boutiques and galleries give it an ambience and desirability which has elevated it to one of Sydney's most fashionable streets and is often described as "Parisian".
Macleay Street is the heart of Potts Point, where diverse architecture from the Art Deco "Gowrie Gate" to iconic "Ikon" embellish the street with character and design. From compact studios to sprawling penthouses with exquisite views capturing Sydney's famous landmarks, there is a property for everyone who is charmed by Macleay Street.
"You're a yuppie if you live in Victoria Street but you know you've really made it if you're in Macleay Street." Trish Muljono, SydneyLinks Real Estate, Potts Point.
